Our Lord is fascinating!
I am sure you already knew this. However in the past several weeks I have been an eyewitness to the most amazing events.
For two years I have been writing here at Spiritually Unequal Marriage. I have shared my struggles and the many ways God has supplied my every need and fulfilled my dreams. I have also shared much about my husband and his unbelief.
What I want to share with you today is this: I am an eyewitness as I watch God pursue my husband. Miraculous events take place on a regular basis in this mans life. I stand back and watch God intersect with this one solitary human being. I am undone, amazed, and humbled to consider all God does to breakthrough to my husband. God is literally pounding on the door of this mans heart.
I have seen it not just once but several times. Last summer there was the “Baptized” balloon which was delivered to our back door just for my husband. This is a true story and if you have time you can read it here (A Divine Balloon).
Two weeks ago an extraordinary event occurred, my husband actually prayed. I shared this experience with the crowd at 1Peter3Living. Click in there to read my testimony.
Why am I sharing this with you? Because I am privileged to witness God at work. I have recognized His subtle pursuit of this man and have prayed to accentuate His divine plan.
If you are discouraged because you don’t see progress, take HEART. God is not dead. He still reigns on the throne. He is perusing every living man, woman, and child on the face of this earth. We just don’t know how to see it.
Take courage for it IS the will of the Father that no man should perish, even my stubborn, atheist husband. I KNOW without a shadow of a doubt, before my husband departs this earth, he will know Jesus.
2 Peter 3:9 (New International Version) The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.
Have a blessed and powerful day. We serve the Most High. What do we have to fear? Not one thing. Be Blessed, Lynn

Lynn, God is amazing. Sometimes, we miss what He is doing.
My husband is a believer but is dragging his heels in fully committing. But God is working on him.
Easter sunday, on our way to his parents, he behaved in an un-christian manner to another driver and within 15 minutes the car broke down. Talk about God speaking! I suggested that he say a prayer. If he did, it wasn't out loud. That evening, after the car was fixed and we were pulling into the driveway, my husband said "Lord, please forgive me for the un-christian way I behaved and thank you for getting us home safely." He acknowledged God's work in the day and that is a big step for my husband. Take care and God bless, Cory

Praise God, Lynn! I thank Him for giving you a glimpse of His work and pray you'll see your husband bend his knee in due time.

Lynn, I'm so excited to watch some of this with you, girl! It's so exciting.
I finished a book today that had a poignant reminder about not depending upon people and circumstances. It's all about God, even when we can't see what he's doing. I'm holding that and your post close to my heart right now. Thank you!

I know how Blessed you are filling. It has only been a couple of months that my husband has been going to Church with me. We still have alot of spiritual struggles. I want to tell him where he is wrong and he wants me to stay out of his spiritual growth. So I have backed off and ask the Lord to guide me and show me how to minister to my husband. I am still longing for the time when he wants to have devotions and prayer with me. He has many hurdles to go over. If you have any advice feel free to share it. I thank God for directing me to this site. I am smiling all over because I know it was by divine intervention that I found Laced With Grace and now this site. How AWESOME our God is !!!!!

Beautiful post Lynn, I'm rejoicing with you that you are seeing God move in the life of your husband. Wonderful incentive to keep pounding down the door.
