What a wonderful surprise to log onto your blog this evening and see a picture of one of my favorite women authors. Nancy and I live in the same town and I had the honor of actually being interviewed by her at one time for our local paper. I enjoy all of her books..however the one that truly got me through my daughter's early childhood was Mom on The Run. I highly recommend all her books...she is an awesome author and a delightful individual.

Oh.my.goodness. I love this interview. I enjoyed reading Nancy's book "When Perfect Isn't Enough" - Proverbs 31 Woman...It was awesome. I have read about her testimony on "Christian Women Today" - about her marriage. She is awesome. Thank you Lynn for posting this great interview.

Thank you, Lynn, for a fabulous interview. I cannot wait to read some of her books.

And, thank you, Nancy. God bless you. What an encouraging story.

Wonderful interview! I think I remember Nancy from a writing loop years ago...beautiful person, inside and out. I'm so encouraged by what you do here, Lynn. God bless you, dear.

Great interview! Good on the answers too! Really nice site and so very glad I dropped by! Thanks for sharing with me! I am so glad there are people like you around! There are a lot of Christians (people) who "fret and worry" over every little thing and to do so is also known as DOUBT and to be in doubt is not to have the faith that GOD gave unto us so therefore it is SIN! Wow! What a grabber huh!? Yes, GOD says that we are "full of seed". Pregnant is the word HE used for us. All we have to do is allow HIS word to come forth in us and we bring forth HIS children in us (HIS FRUITS) and we become more like HIM in all we do and say! You know the days are passing very fast as GOD said that the "time shall be shortened" in the last days, remember? Well we are there and the last days are upon us, so these days keep turning into weeks and weeks into months and years before we know it, they're gone again and soon there shall be no more as we know them! You know though if you stop and think about it and recall the pleasures of heaven and the peace it brings and all of the love and joy that abound in HIS presence, and if we are HIS child, then WHY should we fear it? Some people do fear the end! It should be the very greatest blessing to us! Something to be "looked forward" to with greatest excitement! Well, you stay safe and be blessed and I will pray all will be well with you always. In HIS love, Katie

I met Nancy in 1980 when she saw my bumper sticker and asked if I would help with a Child Evangelism Fellowship event in our apt complex. I had 2 children, was unmarried, was away from the Lord and eventually went with her and Alison to Evangelical Free Church of Yorba Linda. (My new husband of 5 years and I attend there, now Richfield Community church). I thank her for being an instrument in bringing me back to fellowship. I have been thinking about her recently and found her while doing a web search. I would like to locate her and tell her hello, God Bless and thank you.

  • 1Peter3Living is a group for Christian spouses living, and striving to do God's will, in a marriage that is unequally yoked. Together, we will be studying the Bible and other relevant biblically centered books in an effort to strengthen our own faith and encourage each other. Although participation is not mandatory, we hope that you will find that our discussion is prayerful, gracious, and glorifying to God.
