I am thriving in a spiritually unequal marriage and you can too.
In 1992 I married my best friend on earth. Through the years of our marriage, my faith has grown while my husband has remained a nonbeliever. We are spiritually mismatched. Our marriage has been a wild, fantastic journey; completely unexpected. It is just like God to surprise both of us with more than we could ever dream. We are finally enjoying the abundant life that God promises.
Prior to my full-time, writing career, I worked in Corporate America for 23 years. I retired as a banking executive in 2003. Today I devote my time to my family and ministry. I am 46 years old.
I serve as a Bible study leader through our local congregation. I meet many believers who also find themselves on the road behind me in an unequal marriage. It has been a humble privilege to offer hope and encouragement to them.
I launched this web ministry to provide resources to others struggling with the unique issues of spiritual mismatch. I earnestly believe we can help each other arrive at a peaceful place in our relationship with Christ and with our spouse through sharing our struggles, loneliness, and frustrations.
My marriage is the cradle where God grew my faith. I have provided a brief summary of how God has brought peace in my marriage under the Most Popular posts. God has done amazing work in my soul and character through my unbelieving spouse. I am deeply grateful.
My husband and I share a rich life together and are completely head-over-heels in love. With his permission and encouragement, I hope to offer practical suggestions that will help you thrive in your marriage. Be blessed!
Hebrews 12:2 2 Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
